About Streakokey
WHAT THIS THING IS
What Streakokey Is
Streakokey is an NHL streak tracker. For every player in the league it follows ten kinds of consecutive-game streaks: point streaks, goal streaks, scoring droughts, and games-played and games-benched runs for skaters, plus win, losing, shutout, winning-game and losing-game streaks for goalies. Leaderboards rank the longest runs, team pages show who is hot on each club, and every player gets a page with a full streak history, season chart and recent game log.
Who Builds It
Streakokey is built and maintained by Vibr8Lab, the experimental research and development division of Vibr8Soft, a software company based in Laval, Québec. Vibr8Lab has been building small, focused products since 2024. Work on Streakokey started in March 2026.
Why It Exists
A box score tells you what happened in one game. A streak tells you who is on a run, who has gone quiet and whose luck is about to turn, which is what most hockey conversations are really about. Official sites bury that in splits and filters. Streakokey puts it up front, for every player, with no accounts, ads or trackers in the way.
Where the Data Comes From
Every number comes from the NHL’s public game data. Once a day, after the night’s games are final, Streakokey pulls the official box scores and rebuilds every streak from scratch. The regular season and the playoffs are counted separately, and the time of the last refresh is shown at the bottom of every page. The methodology explains exactly what extends and what ends each type of streak.
Corrections
If a streak looks wrong, email streakokey@vibr8soft.com with the player, the page and what you expected to see. Every report is checked against the NHL’s official game summary. When our data is wrong we fix it at the source, so the fix reaches every page at the next daily update, and we list it here. No corrections have been published yet.
Accuracy
Stats and streaks are provided as-is, for information and entertainment. The NHL occasionally revises a scoring decision after a game; the next daily update picks the revision up. For official records, consult the NHL.
