Questions
QUICK ANSWERS
What is the longest shutout streak of this season?
Jake Oettinger of the Dallas Stars has the longest shutout streak of this season at 2 games, from Oct 5, 2026 to Oct 8, 2026. Streakokey only counts streaks of two or more games, and each segment of the season is counted on its own.
Who is on the longest active shutout streak right now?
Michael DiPietro is on the longest active shutout streak, at 1 game since Oct 22, 2026. In all, 3 shutout streaks are active across the NHL. A streak stays active until the player's next game fails to extend it.
Does a missed game end a shutout streak?
No. Relief appearances are skipped rather than counted, so a shutout streak survives an injury or a scratch and picks up again when the player is back. It ends on a start with a goal against. Every streak is counted inside one segment, the regular season or the playoffs.
