Who is on the longest active losing streak right now?
Kevin Lankinen is on the longest active losing streak, at 7 games since Oct 1, 2026. In all, 40 losing streaks are active across the NHL. A streak stays active until the player's next game fails to extend it.
Does a missed game end a losing streak?
No. Games without a decision are skipped rather than counted, so a losing streak survives an injury or a scratch and picks up again when the player is back. It ends on a win. Every streak is counted inside one segment, the regular season or the playoffs.
